This Saturday, I'm supposed to be in Worthington for a post-Rites wrap-up meeting and staff party. Sunday, there's a graduation party for two young ladies who deserve some celebration.
But I'm waffling on this weekend's trip. Because...
Monday, I have an 8am flight to JFK in NYC, where I will be for three days, for the Linked Data Planet conference.
The conference is at the Roosevelt Hotel, 45th and Madison, and I *hope* to have an hour or three free each night, because the show is actually scheduled from 7:30am to 5pm each day, and I believe I'll be trapped in an exhibitor booth for most if not all of that time. Assuming I have any energy left come evening, I'd be interested to meet locals for sushi or similar minor indulgence -- so let me know if you're interested.
Wednesday, I have a 10:30pm flight from JFK back to Logan.
Thursday after work (which may well be from home, given that I won't get home until at least 1am), I will have the great pleasure of seeing and hearing Amanda Palmer with the Boston Pops, followed by the Luminescent Orchestrii at the after party.
Friday after a full day at the office, I drive out to Worthington for a weekend-long Solstice retreat. This trip, I'm not waffling on.
Plus, if I don't go out west for this weekend's events, I can attend two or three other parties which are much closer to home (Beginning of Summer, a Zombie TKOP, or another TKOP near Sullivan Square).
If you have feelings about where I should be this weekend, please let me know... because that will have some impact.
