It was rather touching (to me, anyway), with pieces of not-so-schmaltzy schmaltz around the edges. Monet Mazur, who I'd never seen before, and Julian Morris, who I have, proved an excellent leading couple.
Yes, some of the heartstring tugs were predictable and cheesy. They were no less effective because of it.
Worth seeing on cable, and possibly worth Netflixing, if you want some light sentimentality.
