weekendy planningishness (mark ii)

Friday, race from work to parental estate for to dine with them and sister and sister's new very significant bf. Bringing clothes and such along for Saturday *just in case* things run late and I crash thereabouts.

Saturday, drive out to Pittsfield for a Reception and Book-signing with Crystal Zevon on the release of her long awaited rock-biopic of Warren Zevon I’LL SLEEP WHEN I’M DEAD: The Dirty Life and Times of Warren Zevon. A couple of dear friends are putting this together, and I'm not sure whether I'm going more because of the organizers or the subject.... I'm sure I can bring one person with me; I'm not sure how open the invite is. If you want to come with, let me know, and I'll ping the organizers. If you want a book, B&N has them, as of Tuesday (May 1). If you want a book signed, I can certainly bring a few with me.

Current plan is to come home Saturday night, but there is *some* chance that if I'm traveling solo, I'll stay out there, and do some Spring Cleaning and/or Rites Prep in the EarthSpirit storage mountains.

Definite return earlyish Sunday evening, to do yet still more laundry, as there was too much competition to get it all done Monday evening when I planned for it....

Saturday night, come back east for laundry early and TKOP on Sunday afternoon. (Have we talked about going to such an event together? Would you like to join me? 2ish to 7ish, near Chinatown, so it may be followed by a brief jaunt to the Glass Slipper, before homeward... ...)

Them's my stories, and I'm stickin' to 'em. I think.
