season finales tonight -- can you record SciFi?

My VCRs died and/or disappeared over the course of my move, and I've not replaced them, as I've been planning to move to a DVR (TiVo or whatever), and just haven't had enough time, energy, or disposable money (since the PowerBook theft) to get one -- and now I'm majorly conflicted.

Tonight, SciFi will be playing three season finales, of shows I've become rather attached to -- Stargate SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica.

Tonight, there's a house concert I've been strongly and personally encouraged to attend.

I cannot do both -- and I'm planning to attend the concert -- but that means I'm going to miss the finales.

BG gets re-broadcast Monday night, so worst case, I'll see that, then -- but the Stargates don't get rebroadcast after tonight.... and I won't be able to see them until the DVDs come out ... or I buy the episodes from iTunes, which I don't want to do, as they will then have to be viewed on computer screen, rather than the jumbotron, and the experience is radically different -- and not in a good way.

So, my plea.

Is there anyone reading this who can record, in any transferrable way, these 3.5 hours of TV tonight? (BG has a 90 minute finale.) Almost any form of optical disc would be optimal delivery (I've got a Philips player that handles DVD, DVD±R, DVD±RW, VCD, etc.), if the content is standard format (e.g., mp4) -- but if you've got a VCR, I'll find a playback device.

I will reimburse for media and postage, as necessary, and find some way to make my significant gratitude known beyond that.

SciFi plays these shows from 8:00 to 11:30 PM Eastern, 5:00 to 8:30 PM Pacific; and then re-plays from 11:30 PM to 3:00 AM Eastern, 8:30 PM to Midnight Pacific.

I don't care which order you record them in -- if you can start at any of 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM, 10:00 PM, or 11:30 PM Eastern, and run for 3.5 hours -- that's perfect. If you have something else you follow in the middle, but can catch the start of the first cycle and the end of the second -- that also works.

Heck -- if you can record any full-show segment, please let me know. Getting one or two of these is greatly preferred to missing all three.
